It’s a Saturday Shares! It’s January and it’s a bleurgh month but also a bit of a fresh start. I find it difficult to get started writing and being creative again after the Christmas break, all the food, and the dreary weather, but also it’s a great month to get organised. Here I have 3 posts from others on kicking creative comparison, cleaning your inbox and giving your home a fresh start. I hope it’s a breath of fresh air for your soul.

Have you been struggling to create for any reason? This week I’ve been stuck in the January blues and it’s been a struggle to get creative. Comparison can be a full stop when you want to get creative and my fellow hope*writer Libby John has written a really useful post on 3 tips to overcome comparison when you are a creative.

January is that month where we are cleaning up and getting organised, how about your email inbox? Does that need some attention? Mine did this week. Natasha wrote this useful post on how to process your inbox and free up your time.

My home is bare this week, after putting away the decorations and I’m enjoying the visual space, it’s like a rest for the eyes. I really enjoyed reading this from the nester on how to give your home a fresh start without joy-testing everything you own. Her five steps seem to be a good start.

If you aren’t on my email list then where have you been? I write little letters of encouragement around weekly with freebies and a monthly draw for a free gift. Wanna be friends? Sign up here:
