Hi I’m Abi,
I’m so glad you are here.
If you’ve ever struggled to create, there is gentle hope for you here.
If you’ve ever lacked inspiration or time to create, this space is for you.
I know what it is to need to be creative but be overwhelmed with where to start.
It is possible to create again, stay awhile and I hope you’ll trust me to show you how.
I write to encourage others to be creative, especially if that’s something that has been stunted for a while. I believe that it is good for the mind and soul to create and when we are prevented from expressing our God designed creativity it can be damaging for us. I hope to help others be creative again.
Need design or social media help? I can do that. Read more here.

More about Abi.
I love that in running this website I get to combine design and my first love of writing. My guilty secret passion is magazines, ever since I first created them for friends when I was eight and then on the youth group photocopier. This website is a continuation of those first issues of the ‘Sunvale Sunshines’ that I made with stapled paper sheets and came with their own free wordsearches! This is the latest version of that early edition!
I live on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Oxford in the UK with my husband and three children. I studied English and Publishing at university, ran a design agency with my husband, ran creative workshops for a while and am now writing and designing here to encourage others to create. I know the power of creativity, how it can help with mental health, and how it connects us to who we really are.
I am a member of hope*writers. If you are a writer, then this has to be the most friendly community! There are loads of resources on getting published, this online writing life and more on their website and the community is a supportive group of writers and authors that get it!
